I will NEVER EVER understand how multi Billion dollar corporations create these data centers, get subsidies from the government to help them (even though they have more money than some small countries) and then WE PAY FOR THEIR ELECTRICITY! How is that legal and why won’t anyone try to change it??? I hate it here 😡😪🤦🏻♀️

Actually, 10 wks ago: “Mark Carney announced a national strategy to double the capacity of Canada’s electricity grid by 2050. The plan addresses surging power demand from electric vehicles, industrial growth, and artificial intelligence, while incorporating a flexible role for natural gas and targeting lower household energy costs.” We’re lucky up here to have a leader who tells it like it is.
