I'm going to play devil's advocate here since I'm on the bottom guy's side, but: 1. not all acts of love have to serve evolutionary biology (E.g. take a heterosexual couple showing affection to each other in the form of hugging) 2. As another commenter pointed out, the gay uncle theory (Where negatively contributing to evolution counts as contribution, via taking care of nephews) actually proves that being gay does serve evolutionary biology

natural selection doesn’t require every individual trait to directly increase reproduction bro, it acts on genes across populations, not on a simple ‘everyone must reproduce’ rule… so saying being gay either ‘supports’ or ‘doesn’t support’ evolution oversimplifies how evolution works
