@edasdiary92: Why do we stay in places that slowly break us? I’ve been asking myself that question a lot lately. I don’t think most people stay because they’re weak. I think, after a while, you slowly start believing that maybe you’re the problem. You stop trusting yourself. You question every reaction, every emotion, every decision. You forget who you were before you spent every day trying to prove that you’re enough. The scary part isn’t just what burnout takes from you. It’s how quietly it changes the way you see yourself. Lately, I’ve been realizing that maybe I’m not as “too much” as I convinced myself I was. Maybe I was just trying to survive in an environment that brought out a version of me I barely recognized. And I think that’s why leaving can feel so hard. Because before you leave the place that’s hurting you, you first have to believe that you deserve something better. My burnout taught me that you can’t heal in the same place that broke you. #MentalHealth #burnout #selflove #HealingJourney
