Three kids in college €10 grand each for accommodation. All doing 4 year degree courses. Accommodation goes up around 600 a year. Do 120 grand for the 4 years basically. That doesn't include college fees etc

After spending such amounts a lot will be unemployed and have to go working without their cert, what’s the point. Apprenticeship should come back and be introduced instead of universities.

It’s ludicrous that the government and department of education have made a third level education the baseline requirement for employment. Over 70k graduates per year with approximately 2k graduate positions available
