My friend and I were in a hurry to catch the sunrise at Bluffers Beach, so we decided to take a taxi. And honestly, I’m so glad I was staying downtown because I got to witness a side of Toronto that most people never see. The streets were nearly empty. No traffic, no crowds—just us, the glowing skyscrapers, and the city slowly waking up. It felt peaceful, cinematic, and completely different from the busy Toronto everyone knows. If you’re always chasing sunsets like I am, try waking up early for a sunrise this summer. It deserves a spot on your bucket list.
