I put a blanket across the back seat. Helps preserve the seats longer and helps avoid a divot where the baby seat stays.

You can get a dog hammock for your car. Cut small slits for the latch system and support leg for the car seat. It will keep everything off the floor and contained until you are ready to pull it all out in one go.

Love the format of this video! I’ve had a strict no food in the car rule forever. Drinks have to be in no spill containers and whatever you bring in the car has to be taken out when we get home. That way I avoided food/drink spills and no crap laying around. I had a screaming car baby and I knew he wasn’t hungry, dirty, or bored - we had mirrors so he could see us and we’d talk/sing etc he just wanted to cry. He wasn’t uncomfortable in the car seat as he’d sleep in it in the house.
