I think the judge is realizing that they are trying to dehumanize Lindsay. I also believe at this point the judge is realizing she is innocent . When they brought up the husband going on a date on his anniversary but being adamant on his wife being sick staying home not only did the judge but also Lindsay found out he was having an affair in real time.
