Ugh i feel that people need to be alone to heal and grow and be fully self emotional stable. I am post 6 months break up after a 5 years together. I am going to enjoy my peace and solitude. Being alone isnt weak or lame, not loving yourself and not seeking mental and emotional growth is.

Hi I would not date anyone that is still married. One they could be saying this. Two that person going though a divorce can bring drama over into this new relationship. Three when I got divorce I just wanted to breath. I did not want any type of relationship. I wanted to reflect on my life for at least a year. Forth how long was this person married if kids involved. I was only married for 1 1/2 year half, we had no kids. No property, so my divorce was simple. A man going though divorce today if kids involved, so now this guy have child support if they have custody every other week. Fifth any man been separated for a while should know by now rather they are getting back together. Bottom line any person that is married could back with his spouse at any time. Of course he going to tell you in use-any excuse. Especially if this person has kids in own child support do you want to deal with this person. Dealing with his drama and bills.

Definitely should wait till that person is divorced. That way they finalize whatever they need to finalize and hopefully they’re ready to date again.

As a person that is divorced, wait until they have actual paperwork done and they are officially divorced and have had 6 months to deal with the after effect of it

Don’t do it until the ink is dry. And has been for at least a year. My advice is to wait having been on both sides of this argument.

As someone who’s been there a divorce…don’t do it. If it’s meant to be, they’ll still be there when the paper work in finalized and (hopefully) some therapy has been done

Every situation is different.. I was seperated from my ex husband for 5 yrs , who lived in another country & had a whole new life & family, lady who he cheated on me with... so we were seperated for 5 yrs before I met my now fiance & then I didnt even start an official divorce until almost 3 yrs after I met my now fiance ..
I was a single mother handling business for myself & kids on my own, no help from father's or State. he lived in another country & it really wasnt any need for me to rush to spend that money during any of that time..when there wasnt any reason.. he wasnt trying to get custody of my son nor did he even live in the U.S ..so I wasnt in any rush to spend money to make it official nor was I in any rush to jump into a new marriage anyways .. & my first husband who i married right out of high school, he was a cheater & physically attack me .. we didnt have any kids ..I seperated from him but didnt make it official & get a divorce from him for 7 yrs .. but i never saw him 1 time during that 7 yrs nor did I have any contact with him during those 7 yrs after I left b4 divorce.. I was just focused on me & doing me.. so thats ALOT of time ..
so my situation is different & I think everyone's situation is unique..so i dont think theres any 1 answer for that question..
God Bless Always 🙌
