@liberare.co: So which do you like better? VD: Emma has long dark hair and a blue sweater on. She’s sitting at her desk showing the two types of makeup holders she’s designing for her coworker who’s a quadriplegic. #adaptive #adaptivedesign #disabilityawareness #accessible #inclusivebusiness
Hey queen! I took the 2 ideas and combined them. Maybe you could add a another smaller step and add teeth into each step!

Not sure if this suggestion could help- but when we needed more grip on bottles we’d use either a piece of a shelf grip liner or a rubber glove. Just tossing it out there if those are elements that may be able to help

I feel like the stepped triangle would work better

What if you created a mechanism where, as you rotate the object on the base, a top layer closes—like a camera aperture—adapting to the product's width and securing it in place so it can't move?

I think the nutcracker design thing would be best, seems sturdier when the product is in there

I think you need both. 😊
The silicone base is better for a foundation bottle, while the ridged wall works better for mascara and lipstick.
So why not combine both features in one product? 😁 A silicone base with a ridged wall.
I'm sure Emma is going to love your product! 😊

a nutcracker with rubber or silicone so it grips the product

the silicone nail polish holder was more for holding the bottle while you paint your names imo!! the nutcracker seems more suitable for opening

im not a professional, but would it maybe be an idea to have it so someone could stabilise it between their legs? the material would be a bit squishy so its comfortable and it would have the small handles at the top to unscrew it. it would also have the teeth to hold the makeup. i tried to sketch it out a little

id highly recommend the material be made of the stuff the shelf liners are made of. they grip when met with friction. ive been using squares of the stuff for years to open stubborn jars!

ive been thinking about this as your vids show up. i think a holder that can conform to the different bottles it better, but D loops not teeth, 3D printed out of flexible TPU. i threw together a model, scales prob not right and it doesn't have a mounting interface, but it does show the general idea.

The stepped triangle looks like it would work way better and with more options for different bottles, vs the teeth one looks like it wouldn’t accommodate very much with smaller sizes
