It was a tease for “Spider-Man: the Great Web” a multiplayer spider-verse themed game from insomniac that was cancelled (there’s actually a leaked trailer floating around online). No idea why people think the dataleak at sony caused it to get cancelled, only reliable reporting I found about it says it was cancelled “long before” the leak.

Fun fact the bar tender was a character that was cut from Across The Spiderverse but she was cut too late for the insomniac team to remove her entirely from the game so she just stayed

No, not did nothing. cancelled. hackers leaked the game, then Sony cancelled it out of spite. it was going to be a really interesting co-op version of Spider-Man
