If you do these 3 exercises every day coming back from a knee injury, you will not regret it. DM me “EVERYDAY” and I’ll send you my free step by step daily knee recovery guide. After 3 ACL surgeries, one of the biggest lessons I learned was this: Frequency isn’t optional. It’s essential. When you’re coming back from a knee injury, your body isn’t just weak. Your movement patterns are altered, your muscles are inhibited, and your nervous system doesn’t trust the knee yet. Every time you train, you send a signal: “This knee is safe. This knee is strong. This knee works.” Your body adapts through repetition. Train consistently and strength, control, and confidence come back fast. Train sporadically and those signals fade, progress stalls, and hesitation creeps in. Consistency builds trust. Trust builds strength. Strength takes you all the way back. Here’s 3 of my favorite daily exercises: 1. TKEs (Terminal Knee Extensions) TKEs re-activate the quads, especially the VMO, and reinforce full knee extension. They clean up knee tracking, improve stability, and restore the brain-muscle connection with very low joint stress, making them perfect for daily work. 2. Poliquin Step Downs These rebuild eccentric quad strength and teach the knee how to control force during deceleration. They improve knee alignment, reduce compensations, and directly transfer to walking, stairs, running, and cutting mechanics. 3. Banded Sissy Planks This is one of the best long-lever quad exercises for knee rehab. They strengthen the quads through deep knee angles, improve tendon and connective tissue tolerance, and build confidence in knee flexion without impact. You don’t rebuild knees by doing more random exercises. You rebuild them by doing the right exercises, frequently, with intent. Show up every day. Your knee will thank you later. 💪
