not only confirms their total ignorance of his identity, but it raises a more critical dilemma; if Christ’s shed blood at that exact moment was the self-sufficient atonement that automatically erases the sins of the world, why did Christ need to supplicate and verbally pray to ask for their forgiveness, and is his spilled blood not enough to erase their sin without the need for a verbal plea? The Apostle Paul decisively confirms this ignorance in First Corinthians, stating: "For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." If his crucifiers would not have crucified him had they known the truth, then the entire Christian doctrine of salvation is built upon the sin of ignorance and the crime of murder, implying that divine salvation became dependent on a criminal act—which, had humans abstained from it, would have ruined God's plan, a concept that completely contradicts God's absolute justice, wisdom, and ultimate sovereignty.

As a Muslim, I firmly believe, according to the explicit text of the Holy Quran in Surah An-Nisa, that Jesus (peace be upon him) was neither crucified nor killed, but rather Allah rescued him and raised him to Himself as an honor, as Allah says: "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them." From the perspective of analyzing this contradiction in Christian doctrine, we find a massive theological and historical dilemma within your own books that destroys the logic of the crucifixion and atonement from its very foundation. According to the testimony of the Bible itself, we find that the Romans and Jews who crucified Christ and incited his death never believed in his divinity or that he was dying to atone for their sins, but rather they executed him as a lawbreaker and a political rebel, mocking him by saying that if he were the King of Israel, let him come down from the cross so they would believe in him. Here, we must ask a logical question regarding the killer's intent and punishment: how is it rationally sound that the Creator would base the plan of global "redemptive salvation" on a heinous crime and criminal intent committed by ignorant men, and do these killers deserve reward and praise for accelerating the atonement and freeing humanity from sin, or do they deserve curse and punishment? This leads us directly to the existential contradiction of the crucifixion's instruments; if Christ’s death was an absolute necessity predestined since eternity to forgive sins, it means theologically that "Judas Iscariot" who betrayed him, and the soldiers who nailed him, performed the greatest service to humanity, because without them, Christ would not have been crucified and Adam's sin would never have been forgiven, so why then does the Bible curse them and view them as criminals when they were the direct executive tools without whom the plan of salvation would have utterly failed? Furthermore, what completely shatters the concept of atonement is the shocking prayer for forgiveness in the Gospel of Luke, when Christ said while on the cross: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
