@legendthelionheart: I had a mild stroke after the larger one. No new issues have come up. HOW ABOUT YOU? ❤️ #lionheartlopessurvivor #questionsigetasked #stroke #strokesurvivor ##braininjuryawareness
My husband is 11 years out and excersizes everyday! Get a row machine and stationary bike. Never lose faith never give up! God is good recovery takes years but you will get there! My hubby had a massive mid brain stroke. Everything that could be screwed up was and he’s better and better every year!

That’s one of the worst parts of it for me. I recovered about 90% so far I’m five months out but I just have this feeling of doom that’s gonna happen again and I’m gonna be a lot worse questioning rehab. I met a people that were a lot worse. it’s so bad that I’ve actually seen somebody. I just started with therapy. I just can’t shake the feeling and I know I’m a lot luckier than a lot of people, but I still had a stroke. I’m not getting over that.

Just keep going! I am 12 years post stroke and I am still making progress. Progress is a journey. Don’t say I can’t, say maybe next time. 😉

Just keep going...take mental breaks when you need to...Do NOT worry about what the others think...one day at a time. Celebrate the victories, even the smallest ones matter.

Been almost 5 years. I just take it day by day. Still going strong. Still fighting every day. I was 51 when I had it. My left side is still screwed up and it left me blind on the left side of both eyes but I am still here🥰

There is no set timeline for recovery. Be patient with yourself no matter how slow you move. Keep working. It matters!!👍🏽🙏🏽
