Thinking our works have anything to do with our salvation takes away from the work JESUS did for us. HE DIED ON THAT CROSS, not us!! There’s nothing we can ever do to be worthy. Like any gift it’s our option to receive it or not

Amazing! Can you talk about those who are saved but won’t make it in the rapture bc there was a ton of talk about those Christians who won’t be taken in the rapture. That seems to require more to be taken and not left behind.

I’m saying this to anybody reading my comment. If you’re mixing grace with works, then you’re not trusting in Jesus alone. You’re trusting in Jesus plus what you do. Nobody ever thinks about the person on their deathbed. They don’t have time to spend years producing fruit, following commandments, or living a life of obedience. They believe. That’s it. And what about the people who come to faith during the Tribulation? It’ll be life or death for them. They aren’t going to have time to clean up every sin they’ve ever committed. They’re going to put their faith in Jesus. The Gospel of salvation is so simple. It took me 3 years to finally understand that. I used to believe in a works based gospel too. I lived in fear, always wondering if I’d done enough. I even argued against OSAS. Then I came to believe differently. I’ll defend OSAS because I believe fear is a liar. Fear keeps people focused on themselves instead of what Christ already did. People say OSAS is Calvinism. Others say the pre Tribulation Rapture was invented by John Nelson Darby. We’re so divided, and it breaks my heart. I believe we should be pointing people to Christ instead of adding to the Gospel. I also don’t understand how some people teach you can lose your salvation but also believe in a pre Tribulation Rapture. To me, those don’t fit together. I believe we belong to God, nothing can snatch us out of His hand, and those who have trusted in Christ won’t be here for God’s judgment because they’ve placed their faith in his son. When I hear people preaching grace mixed with works, I listen to understand what they’re saying, but when I hear the message turn into “Jesus plus what you do,” I keep scrolling. There are so many people teaching that now, even people I’ve watched for a long time. The Church is so divided, and it’s heartbreaking to see. I spent 3 years believing salvation was based on my works before I came to believe it was by faith alone. Looking back, I wonder… what is going on? 💔
