O Allah, grant every Muslim a beautiful ending (ḥusn al-khātimah). Make our final moments the best moments of our lives. Let our last words be, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Let us leave this world while You are pleased with us. O Allah, ease the suffering of the oppressed Muslims wherever they are. Grant victory to those who are wronged, relieve those in hardship, heal the sick, provide for the needy, comfort those who are grieving, and have mercy on those who have returned to You. O Allah, protect us from the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death, the punishment of Hellfire, and every form of evil in this world and the Hereafter. Grant us an easy reckoning on the Day of Judgment, place our books in our right hands, and admit us into Jannatul Firdaus without punishment or account.
