I wish everyone who commented on the first ep here came to the end to appreciate what doing things unplanned and being surprised at the small journey. She was glad she did it even tho she never did and he was more than happy

This was very sweet. I loved how Kate was emotional about it. I’m glad that he was able to put her at ease. He respected her, and she appreciated it. I’m glad she expressed that. They shared laughs together. He made it easy for her to be herself. I saw this when it originally aired. I was always a Kate fan. She was extremely private. I remember when a very close friend, Garson Kanin, wrote a book about Kate and Spence. The book was a tribute to them, but it was way too personal. Kate felt so betrayed that she never spoke to Garson or his wife, Ruth Gordon, again.
