they do make data cards for each army. I use them all the time. tyranids cards are harder to find.

it's a decent detachment and list, but can be hard to run properly.

I have to have my list and wargear listed on paper, even then I forget about it sometimes. I usually build out my army list then print it out. I keep them after the game, if I need an army fast I already have a list ready I can play.

Forgetting rules is the heart and soul of Warhammer. I once went to a tournament (Fantasy, 8th) with an army heavily focused on vanguard. I forgot to use vanguard every single game.

with new recruit you can print off the data cards in several different ways so you don't have to write them down if there is one you like

One spore mine biovore shot per turn (even with multiple biovores), but you can have multiple spore mines out in a game. Great for blocking enemy charges. Tokens can help if you’re status heavy, but custom ones are fun. Army looks like a good time, good luck!

you are doing great. the flash cards are a good idea. tokens are mostly used to remind you of things. I use them to remind me of my orders. becouse guard have a lot of orders.

vanguard onslaught is my favorite detachment. I built my 2k list to play exactly like Tyranids in space marine 2, just a horde swarming the board overwhelming my opponent. some of the best games I played.

I love using biovore sense it doesn't need line of sight tuck it behind something so the enemy cant see it or shoot at it and rain chaos.
