Ain’t it funny how the August air is bittersweet, can’t forget how your eyes locked onto me, painting nails in the back of our school bus, full art class but its somehow just the two of us. Spilt energy drink on my battered dreams, the smell of grape still lingers on my favorite jeans, broken promises remain in my go to mall, would say I’m sorry but I did nothing wrong at all.
