I have asthma too, I never took the covid shot, got covid in 2024 and I’m completely fine, never hospitalized. We need to stop thinking one side is better than the other. We all make decisions for ourselves that we believe is the best FOR OURSELVES.

Im genuinely curious, is the opposition to the covid vaccine exclusively a North american thing (because the anti vax movement is unfortunately strong in Canada too) or is there just as much opposition in other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa?

I was born in 1953 when kids got polio. Luckily, a vaccine became available and everyone got it. I never got polio. THAT’S how I’m doing.

My Husband's Grandma got COVID in 2021 from his anti vaxxer mom. I had talked Grandma into getting the vaccine because of her constant health issues, heart issues, and she was 76 years old. She ended up in the hospital for a month and it was touch and go, but the doctors all said she wouldn't have survived 2 days if she hadn't been vaccinated.
