I charge a fee for extended hours if I’m coming in for clients on my days off or early/late. That’s not weird at all. Any person in the creative industries SHOULD be charging a premium for the hours outside of regular open time.

To be clear: SHES BOOKED. Her hours are weekdays. Weekends off. She’s booked out over a month ahead. She never said anything about 4 days. Her clients value her time and art. They book when her spots are available. She offers weekends for an extra fee. As she should. 🙌🏽

The biggest red flag is the “inconvenience fee.” You’re so bent out of shape that you would need to tattoo on a certain day that you’re gonna charge me extra? I do not trust anyone like that to put permanent art on my body. That screams “I’m gonna do a shitty job and make you pay extra for it and complain I had to work on a day I want off.” Just say no or schedule something further down the line. Gross.

She didn’t say that. She said she works during the week and doesn’t want to work weekends. She pitches different dates but if the person wants her to come on the weekend, she is charging because she is working outside of her business hours. That’s valid.
