i did that once, i was 16 and joined a black crochet group, it was like ALL POC grandmas and i showed up to an event with all my black plushies because im alternative and i became a celebrity because i was young and stupid and they thought it was the cutest mistake ever, they wouldnt let me leave and i got FED, made so many friends, i still go to some meetups to show them my newest black creations and they love it 🤣

You know what? It’s kinda really endearing that race didn’t even pique in his mind. He’s in it for the love of the Jeep. Unlike when I joined a Facebook group called white pet owners (I have a white cat and thought it was about keeping their fur white because he gets yellowish sometimes) and saw all other colors of cats and dogs. I thought oh. Left immediately.

I joined an all black roast group on fb by mistake years ago. They were based out of Maryland. I am in TN. We used to do the party lines and all. I sound like corn bread so they never could hardly understand me. They were the most welcoming and accepting people. I still keep in touch with some of them. I'll never forgot I joined on Christmas and immediately there was a post that said "Santa sent us a snowflake for Christmas" and I was in 😂
