We prepped for the baby by holding a baby doll wrapped in a blanket and playing baby crying sounds and then I set up all the baby furniture and would put the phone with the crying sounds on it. My parents dog would make crying noises with it and try to help lol my dog didn't care. We also sent home blankets with babies scent on it for the dogs to smell before we got home. My dog and parents dog were so amazing with my daughter. They would snuggle nearby and check on her a lot
