Try to see if you have a local vocational school, sometimes they have mechanic programs and they’ll do the work and you’ll only pay for parts, and if you have the parts you’re in even better position, only thing is trusting your car with students but they are being instructed by likely a good mechanic

400-500 for an alignment? I'd shop around for a more reasonable price. I got an alignment on my 4runner that took the guy over 3hrs to get right and it was 95 bucks

you disappeared off my fyp for aaaages! thought youd cracked it 😂 wheel bearings are pita. had to get one done couple of years ago and my mechanic maxed out his 20Tonne press pulling the old one out. had to take it a truck mechanic friend and it took 34Tonnes!

IMO alignments are overpriced. the diagnostic tools are expensive to purchase but they use them a million times and the adjustment is usually just turning a couple bolts.
