In this step of Give Yourself a Job in 24 Hours, we’re looking for something incredibly important: What are people already willing to pay for? You don’t have to invent a business idea out of thin air. Start by paying attention to the problems people are already talking about. Look in: * local social media groups/pages * neighborhood groups * community pages * mom groups * local forums What are people asking for help with? What services are they looking for? What problems keep coming up? You can also ask directly. Create a simple poll or question and find out what people in your community actually need. When I did this, I noticed patterns in the responses — and even in a small group of people, repeated needs can be a clue that there are many others who need the same type of help.
