I was at a religious retreat about a year or so after my divorce. During one of the talks, I said to myself, God why’d you take him away from me? He said in my head, “Daughter I didn’t take him away from you. I took you away from him.” I know that was the Holy Spirit especially as I thought it was all my fault because that’s what my ex told me. God definitely separated me from something bad.
