When my paycheck comes in I just pay all the bills that are due within that pay so no need to move the money to a separate account for bills. The only bill I need to put aside is money for my water bill bc that gets paid every 3 months. After out miney in my savings, The rest is my “spending money”. Also my bank charges each month for a separate checking account so to me that seems counterproductive. Is this not a good strategy?

I do cash stuffing. I leave my bill money in my account and a small buffer. Everything else comes out. Cash is divided up and I spend from those categories. I love that system. The harder it is to spend the less I do it.
