@millsdeblogger1: In a joint operation aimed at bringing sanity to tertiary student accommodation, authorities have officially shut down private hostels—including Elite Hostel—for operating without proper licenses and arbitrarily raising hostel fees.  The enforcement exercise, carried out by the Rent Control Department in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), revealed that several private facility managers failed to register their operations or undergo mandatory rental rate evaluations.
