to be fair making brown sugar every time is so smart cuz if you don't close the bag correctly or put a cracker or something it becomes hard as a rock in less than a day and have to waist a whole bag so i might start doing this

I just use white sugar in my recipes and pour in however much molasses I need to turn it into Brown sugar. I don't bother making my brown sugar ahead of time

Down the brown sugar is the original✌️😭 white sugar is brown sugar with the molasses removed. Why wouldnt you just buy the brown sugar as the less refined option instead.
