Lol you’re missing the point. these ppl aren’t claiming a holy life is easy. they are pointing out that holiness IS elegant. holiness IS attractive. and that doesn’t have to be exclusive from the fact that sometimes having faith in Jesus is hard.

I think this is pretty judgmental :/, a lot of the younger generation uses the phrase kinda chic & I agree with some of the comments saying it’s a good way to mention Jesus in a popular trend- to turn the attention on Him! Instead of something else. I agree that worldly music or anything of that nature shouldn’t be mixed in bc then it becomes diluted but other than that there’s nothing wrong with it

It’s extremely performative yes — but I wouldn’t race to a conclusion that someone is being worldly. This is simply an association issue you have, where you culturally consider aesthetics & social media influencing as worldly, meanwhile they may have genuinely posted it from a good place. I would caution you to be hyper self aware that your zeal for reverence doesn’t give birth to a religious spirit which is equally as performative as more cultural Christians. At the end of the day Philippians 1:18 “ the important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached”
