Its leader, El Mencho, is a high-priority target in the United States due to the cartel's rapid global expansion and notorious reputation. CJNG's brutal training camps have allegedly included forced cannibalism, as reported by Mexico News Daily and The Daily Beast. The NCB uncovered chemicals essential for meth production at the lab, including acetone, sodium hydroxide, and red phosphorus.
