I never like to consider Pocahontas as a Disney princess, because it feels so disrespectful to the memory of the real human being and her actual life versus the romanticised story

Fun fact: in the original storytelling (19th century) snow white was stated to be 7 years old, while the prince (fully grown adult) was walking the forest he was obsessed and completely in love with the beauty of a 7 years old corpse, he carried her glass grave back to the palace there was no “true love kiss” but when the servants were carrying her glass grave one of them stumbled and the poisoned apple piece came out of her throat, which made her wake up and the prince immediately married her. This was due to the middle ages and 19th century stating women as property and something to be claimed, royal families married their little girls (often children) off to adult princes, to secure family ties before the family lines die. (I know that’s horrific also sorry for my bad English it’s not my first language)
