The Prophet Jared in Ancient America, having gone up in a mountain to commune, first saw only the finger of God. Then he desired to see His face and whole person. Because of his perfect faith, then Jesus showed His Spirit Body unto him. He explained that He will take His physical body in the same likeness when He comes in the flesh. This account is recorded in the book of Ether in the Book of Mormon, which is another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is a second witness of the Savior in these last days. It contains the teachings of Jesus to His people in Ancient America and His visit to them.

I agree. Jesus is our Redemption. For us Christians today we're blessed to have our Redemption given to us by his cross and resurrection while we still have to grow in our salvation (the law). Moses and Elijah were to come before us and be a way for God to remind us of this as well as to fulfill his will. I think that's why Jesus asked Peter, John, and James not to speak of the transfiguration. Because the confirmation of him being the Son of God AND for us to ponder this concept of His holy word later. Jesus was always the way. It was a way to have God make a full circle. A completion into completion. God bless 🙏

Father I understand that it was because he struck the rock twice. Allow me to justify why. Jesus is the 'ROCK' and the 1st strike is representative of HIM undergoing HIS passion whilst quenching our thirst to sin. Now we just speak to HIM and remain in HIM, whilst HE quenches our spiritual thirst by providing us with The Living Water which HE spoke to the Samaritan woman about. All this happens whilst HE is leading us into the 'Promise Land'. Father that is my humble understanding and I stand to be corrected 🙏🏾
