As a woman my biggest regret was being with someone that didn't have the same values or religion as my family, now my kids have a broken home, and it's only me and it was me being young and stupid, only thinking for the present and not future..... My daughter "loves" her boyfriend, I've seen the family and I go pleeeeease do not be me, or at least do not have kids

family isn’t always blood. coming from a bad family doesn’t always mean that the woman produced is bad. people change. some people choose to inherit the sin and continue the generational trauma. while others choose to break the cycle and build a new dynamic and break the trauma cycle. marrying the girl doesn’t always mean you marry her family. it’s about building YOUR family, not THEIRS.

Unfortunately if the family doesn’t like the partner of their daughter this can impact the couple. The best solution (if the relationship is worth) is for the girl to cut the relationship with the family. I came from a similar situation and we ended up splitting because of the influence of my father. Imagine meeting your father and all day long reminding you how bad is your partner. You will have this noise in your head 24/7… 😞

I love my in laws. I could have never married into a family I didn’t get along with. I wouldn’t want to deal with that drama and possibly negative emotions, energy etc. it’s wouldn’t be worth it to me and now I have an amazing husband and in laws.

Not true tbh when a man and women come together as one they leave their family so technically you’re marrying him or her and starting your new family. I’m married we both get on well with each others fam but my kids are with me 24/7 I wanted to be a mom so I’m enjoying every second of it I don’t want to share my kids sorry not sorry you can see them when we all hang out
