@uknostalgia00: Back then in Britain, plenty of houses had no bathroom — bath night was once a week, in a tin bath dragged in front of the coal fire, and everyone used the same water. You heated it pan by pan and kettle by kettle till there was just enough to sit in. You went in strict order, oldest first, topped up when it went cold. Being one of the youngest, I was always down the wrong end of that order. I made my feelings known and was roundly ignored. #Nostalgia #British #OldBritain #TinBath
