I tried to explain this to someone and she said "oh no honey I only ever use water, I still get my p*ssy ate and they ain't complaining" 😂 bacteria grows on your skin in these areas especially!! even in ancient times they'd use antibacterial herbs and/or herbal smoke to cleanse it
