Mission kids get so much abuse from the people they try to convert (which is by design, it reinforces the persecution complex and makes it harder to leave), so inviting them in to play video games is actually so good. It shows them that the world isn't so scary and that people don't have to be mormon to be good.

My dad used to let them come in & talk to him for hours just so he could debate them. Many times they ended up leaving while questioning their faith.

You are going to become their favorite house. Those kids are often tightly controlled on these “mission” trips and could probably use the break. Make sure they hydrate and have snacks whenever they visit, kindness can go a long way in helping to disrupt the persecution narrative of wider world outside their religion being evil and out to get them.🥹

Former Mormon/Mormon missionary, this would be my literal dream! Remember that we're forced to be there and so be nice to them. Also, if you could offer them some food and drink that would be amazing. I went a couple of weeks without eating because I didn't have enough money to eat.
