Well.. I did leave because I think everyone is responsible for themselves. But he was miserable till he died and blamed me. Even then I didn’t let it control me, because I was with him about 8 years to long for that reason. No regrets. I’m a happy person at default now with a great partner; the love of my life and my best friend ever. He sets me free to live life at the max and he’s free to. We are NOT responsible for each other’s happiness and wellbeing. But we support and love and are so happy. “Het gaat om vertrouwen en gunnen”.
