Waiting until their law enforcement friend/family member is on shift is a common thing in Mississippi. It happened to me. I found a puppy in the street once up there in 2019. Found the owners online, set up a meeting to give their dog back. I asked about the reward, they said okay… meet them 4 days later at a gas station just outside the city limits. I was like weird but okay- they never came but they sent their sheriff’s deputy family member and I was assaulted and arrested. For stealing a dog that was about to get ran over in a busy street.

Nolan's mom also stated that the life360 location of her son showed he went to several locations in the hours prior to when he was found, and that he was even on land. that explains a lot now! They probably forgot to delete the life360 data
