i had a su1c*d€ attempt at 13 y/o. 2 months later i started to feel i could not keep the secret anymore, and the fist thought that came to my mind was "i can not tell an adult", so i told a classmate that wasn't even that close to me. She was patient and listened to me and hugged me when i started to cry; i asked her not to tell anyone and she kept the secret for me and told me to talk about it with others when i felt ready. Sometimes i just feel teenagers are more understanding than most of the adults.

My issue is that my parents think my issues were theirs 30 years ago. They aren't fully caught up, they tell me what they did 30 years ago (i love the suggestions and solutions but 99% of them dont work) and they are 30-40 years older than me i prefer to talk to my friends and people my age who actually go through the same shit and understand
