Oh my goodness. This was spot on gurl. My avoidants ex reached out to me. And told me about problems I didn’t even know existed in our relationship. It was weird. They don’t want each other but they won’t let each other go. We broke up because I found out about him being in close contact with the ex. I told him he will never have anything real as long as he has her. I felt like I was in a relationship with both of them after finding out 😫

I walked away once he offered friendship! Before I found out why avoidants offer friendship; I declined because if they were never there for me in a partnership...how was he going to be there for me as a friend. I don't trust him, he does not value me, they are unreliable, and avoid accountability how would that make a good friend. I said you want all the benefits of me without being their for me.I can't do it!!! He offered friendship twice first discard and when after he returned 3 years later concealing the fact he married the person he monkey branched to.
