the dude beside me in the theater kept side eyeing me bc I was crying during the scene with him infont of the hospital. I was so embarrassed like DAYUM CAN'T EVEN CRY DURING MOVIES ANYMORE💔😭 great edit btw!!

I’ve just had a new interpretation of that hospital scene now. Peter was being appreciated for being spider-man by the masses, however that one kid looked at him, Peter. In a crowd of people looking at “Spider-man”, that kid looked at Peter and he was noticed. That was probably the first time anyone payed close attention to him in particular in 4 years. I think obviously Peter was able to see NYC’s appreciation for him in that moment but also that kid showed him that he doesn’t need to blend into the background and be alone as Peter. Perhaps that’s what influenced him to say that line to May’s grave. [cry] [cry] [cry]
