People think it’s hard but it’s really not. Imagine a native Spanish speaker trying to understand street English, very fast and informal, just like Spanish.

I always used to think when i started learning Spanish that when someone said "está bien" that they were saying "tambíen". I was so confused until I realized how fast they were saying it. This video is a great explanation and perfect for my level of learning!

It's why I search for shows with matching CCs. So many Spanish phrases pass my ear, and most subtitles don't match spoken words. Certain phrases stick once I read them slowly.

Great explanation but it's four ways that make learning and understanding Spanish more difficult. Not only do you have to learn vocabulary but you also have to learn to listen for those words with different sounds based on neighboring words. Ugh.
