UK person here. I find your TTs really informative and I’ve been following the trial and how LC lawyer is really trying to to make the jury understand about perinatal and postnatal mental health. We’re far from perfect here but there’s so much understanding about the care women need when poor mental health intersects with pregnancy. We’re seeing the development of perinatal mh teams (though demand outstrips service supply) and much more policy to raise awareness across our NHS. I’ve found the discourse on LC ex husband to be so distracting from the important conversations those in the US should be having right now. She murdered her kids but in a modern society, she’s not the only one accountable here 😔

you can ask..but people are going to do them...I think what you are saying makes sense...and it's her trial...but noone knows full facts...so people may believe it.. Women supporting Women who require serious help is a great topic...Women are exhausted..Thank You for the defence...but don't let those posting...distract you.

I respectfully disagree. The husband was absolutely a contributing factor in this tragedy. Yes, he is also a victim but that alone does not negate his culpability.

I think its reasonable that we look at the lack of support Lindsay had, both medically and at home. I definitely would argue that was a defining issue that led to this tragedy

He hired a nanny, put the older kids in daycare and had the grandparents over regularly. He worked from home. He supported the family so she could stay home and not go back to work. He took her to doctors and checked in with her. He helped get her checked in to a facility that she checked herself out of. She was never diagnosed with psychosis. She was never diagnosed with PPD or PPA. He was never told not to leave her alone with the kids. He loved her and then he came home after running errands she sent him on and discovered something no one should ever come home to. He had to find his babies dead. She deserves the harshest punishment possible
