I should mention I lost 60 lbs by calorie tracking the “traditional” way. I have a food scale and weigh my food in grams. I weigh myself. I track my measurements. I take photos. I lift weights. I get 10k steps a day. It works. It’s data to me and doesn’t control my my mental wellbeing. I do understand that’s not healthy for everyone.

I think you should do both. Track for a while to teach yourself what the finds you eat regularly count for as far as macros, then switch to intuitive eating once you’re familiar with the structure of the energy you’re consuming. That helps you know you’re eating enough in general and also helps you navigate cravings to know if you’re missing nutrients or just wanting a treat (both are fine)

This not necessarily true. Tracking and caloric budget gives you framework when you start. It teaches you to pick foods that fuel you and satisfy you at the same time. It makes you evaluate if certain foods are worth it or not.

But WHY DO I FEEL SO HUNGRY AT NIGHT? 😭 I was controlling myself better when I used to count calories (but it was so tiring) instead EATING INTUITIVELY cuz I am devouring food all day long cuz I feel too much hungry I guess and I cannot stop 😞😞😞😞
