Young girls will absolutely see Ariana and think that’s the ideal body type because of you and the many people saying that she’s fine. Her team even released a statement emphasizing how “healthily” she’s doing things. You clearly weren’t on tumblr back in 2012-13 when anorexia was idolized and if your bones weren’t sticking out you were fat. Millions of people got EDs because of the way these things were platformed on social media that’s why we are so vocal about Ariana. We were the young girls in question

what they find morally reprehensible is that her image and persona are continually being made public, she is one of the most famous musicians on the planet right now, all the while with a fanbase of primarily young women + small children. Im not personally concerned with pinning blame on her or making content about her, but to deny that this is causing and is going to cause material harm to young women is disingenuous. she isnt some godlike force of cultural change that singlehandedly changes the tides in regards to body image, but she has a Lot of influence that shouldnt be downplayed.
