hi3rd makes sense because the cast is so small in comparison to any of the newer more popular gacha games. it's a character driven story first rather than a plot driven story, and it's a main reason why hsr story fails, because they try to follow the same character driven story cycle but they're held back by needing to had new characters every patch. it makes sense for kiana or mei or bronya to have their own moments to shine because from the very moment those three were who we were with and we haven't had much else, and that's why part 2 isn't liked, and also why characters like Aventurine/Chryos Heirs still have people not liking how they were shoved down our throats for their patches.

I’m lowkey getting burnt out for the exact opposite reasons 😭 (I have way too much to do) but the powercreep is definitely better than genshins. Then again idk if it’s fair to compare them. Hsr rewards vertical investment while genshin rewards horizontal investment (having many teams, building ur roster with units at c0r0 or c0r1 for units who want their sigs). It kinda just sounds like u haven’t vertically invested (investing into 2-3 teams with lcs and eidolons so some e1s0 some e1s1 you get the point) which is why u might have trouble (saying this as someone who started vertically investing more recently. It’s worth it. Eg - I got e2 for my cyrene. Huge boost for my Anaxa and I’m probably gonna try get e1s1 cerydra to further boost his damage) the sp thing is so true tho mfs will drag u mentioning hi3 as if the sp’s there don’t get some changes to colour palettes. Few like sparxie, evernight & more. Look fine all the sp’s after sparxie (sw999, mblade, nova, Summeretto & waveflair) they’re just messes sw999 especially deserved better for being the anniversary unit 😭

I loved when SPs actually gave new lore to character like evernight or imbibitor lunae than oh we just wanted sparkle but as a streamer😭

same i liked hsr during amhporeus I started playing during black swans first banner lost my acc and started playing during cyrene release again and when I quit I could barely clear endgame w premium cas and phainon and also had barely any sources left and I find the new plant very boring

Whener people mention currency as an endgame I shake my head, because yeah it's entertaining, but when you reach the higher levels it definitely gets more boring because only so many teams can actually clear the harder stages

YES OMG heavy on sps genuinely , forcing them into being meta as "new" characters i have to build from scratch? , and adding some lore into them to make them wanted, also the game is dead when u finish story itd be so dry and unplayable

Literally, like wdym some events are getting reused and still release 1-2 events along side with it? And not to mention Elation which is supposed to be the current meta and should be dominating the endgames are struggling to clear unless you invest in their Eidolons like E1S1 Eva or E2S0 SW99.
