I get this but also coming from the UK to Cancun is expensive so I don’t understand why the staff aren’t paid decently! It’s the same in the US because the companies don’t pay their staff then the customer is expected to 🤦🏻♀️

Guys he didn’t say tip overly generous, I brought $1 bills and tipped per every 2 drinks, realistically unless you’re getting blackout everyday that is not much money 😂

I literally got back from an all inclusive yesterday and tipped in USD. I pretty much tipped everyone, bar staff, restaurant staff, minibar guy, housekeeping and the guys who drove me from point A to point B in the golf carts. All I know is, I’m going back in 6 months because the staff made the vacation a great experience. And yes, the staff worked their butts off to make that happen for everyone.. so for me, it’s just respectful way to say thank you.
