I know so many old quiet horses who fight for their feet to not be held up the standard way and farriers refuse to compromise with them, then blame the horse. I love this!

I’ve got horses on my books like this. I’ve been chewed out by trainers and owners. I’ve had them try to hold the foot up long enough to pull a shoe or do a nipper run the traditional way. I’ve been told to just get it done and they won’t bother me anymore…… never a “you’re right” or “thank you”.
