@pearlcindyy: News about baby 🥹 Clubfoot awareness🙏 For the last three months, I’ve been carrying this quietly while we navigated one of the hardest seasons of motherhood I’ve ever known. At my 20-week ultrasound, and again at 30 weeks, we found out our sweet baby boy had bilateral clubfoot. I froze. I was confused, scared, and completely overwhelmed by the fear of the unknown. Then at just two weeks old, he began weekly stretching casts. Which looked like lots of visits to the hospital. Watching your newborn go through discomfort is heartbreaking in a way I can’t fully explain. And trying to hold his appointments, his tears, my emotions, and the needs of my other two children all at once stretched me more than I ever expected. One of the hardest parts was not having an answer. No family history. No explanation. Just something we had to walk through. But this journey has also taught me so much. It taught me that we are not alone. That clubfoot is more common than I realized. That gratitude and grief can live in the same heart at the same time. And that my baby boy is far more resilient than I could have imagined. Today, his feet are fully corrected, Thank you, God!! 😭😍💞And we’ve officially entered the boots and bar phase. It’s still hard. It’s still an adjustment. But we are celebrating every little win. If you’re a mama walking through a diagnosis you didn’t expect, or carrying a heavy postpartum season in silence, you are not alone.
