Most of what I believed came from tennis and almost none of it survives a glass court. Power comes straight back at you off the wall, the lob is an attacking shot rather than a rescue, and at our level roughly seven points in ten are given away instead of won. Aiming a metre inside the line instead of at the corner changed more for me than any drill I have ever done.
